Pair of Bucks stars to miss Game 4 vs. Pacers

Per ESPN's Malika Andrews, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard and power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo are expected to miss Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

Two-time MVP Antetokounmpo hasn't played since he strained his left calf against the Boston Celtics on April 9. Lillard, meanwhile, strained his right Achilles tendon in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to the Pacers.

The Athletic's Shams Charania and Mark Puleo reported the eight-time All-Star was seen with a walking boot on his foot on Saturday.

Following the loss to the Pacers, Lillard admitted his Achilles has been bothering him since Milwaukee's regular-season finale.

"We're gonna get back and just have to get ahead of it because that's not something that you want to play with," Lillard said, via Charania and Puelo. "It's one of those spots on your body where you literally can't do anything about it. If you can't move, you can't move. We have a couple of days to start and try to get ahead of it. Get it feeling better and get ready for Sunday."

In Games 1, 2 and 3, Lillard averaged 32.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Without their best players, the Bucks need another big-time performance from small forward Khris Middleton, who scored 42 points in Game 3.

However, Milwaukee may be on the ropes. The Pacers lead the series 2-1, and the Bucks don't have an answer for Indiana small forward Pascal Siakam, who has averaged 30 points in the series.

Unless Lillard and Antetokounmpo return for Game 5 in Milwaukee on Tuesday, the Bucks could be headed toward a second straight first-round exit. As of Sunday, FanDuel lists the Pacers (-650) as the favorite to win the series.
