Napoli will search for a new Kim Min-Jae’s heir in the summer since Natan hasn’t won over three different coaches, and they have examined David Hancko more than a few times. The former Fiorentina youngster has blossomed at Feyenoord, and his valuation is sizeable, Tuttomercatoweb informed.

The center-back joined the Viola back in 2018 from Zilina but struggled to earn a regular role. He made just five appearances before being loaned out to Sparta Prague. He eventually headed back to his home country on a €2.5M deal in 2021. The Dutch team signed him for €8.3M a year later.

Hancko is under contract until 2028 as he recently agreed to a renewal, which doesn’t help Napoli and his other suitors. He has caught the attention of multiple clubs thanks to his solid performances in the European cups.

The Partenopei would need to shell out at least €30M to snap up the Slovakian. He has 37 caps with his national team. He has made 57 Eredivisie appearances in recent campaigns, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists.

Our Take on Napoli and Hancko

They surely can’t begin next season still with Juan Jesus as the starter. Perhaps the Victor Osimhen windfall will lead to multiple large investments. This should be their second priority behind the striker. Even though he didn’t pan out with Fiorentina, his previous time in Italy would still be a bonus compared to other foreigners completely unfamiliar with the league, and he’s just entering his prime.
